H&M´s latest campaign, “Close The Loop“, that showcases their idea of recycling and reusing clothes, highlights the idea of breaking all fashion stereotypes and rules. The concept wants to display that one should not dress upon rules society or culture has set up, and unique styling should not be according to the liking of anyone but yourself. With this message in mind, H&M have channeled the campaign in the YouTube-vidoe “Close The Loop”, with content like “wear hat indoor”, “wear a short skirt after 40”, “wear a short skirt if you´re a man, “be boring” and “take a stand”.
In the campaign video, Mariah Hidrissi, a veiled muslim model stands for the message “be chic”. So this is first time a modern fashion house actually have highlighted a model wearing a veil.
Well, once again the giant fashion house has extend the rules in the business of fashion. The campaign is celebrated all around the world and the video has seen by more than 6 millions of people!
